§ Mr. Peter WalkerMy Department and local authorities are continually in touch with industry about measures to reduce pollution. We have recently introduced orders to place more industrial processes under the Alkali Inspectorate. We expect to keep under constant review ways in which we can encourage and, where necessary, enforce anti-pollution orders.
