§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what economic and marketing changes in fisheries policy and administration he envisages in the event of the United Kingdom joining the European Economic Community.
§ Mr. PriorCertain important aspects of the European Economic Community's common fisheries policy are still in the process of formulation. Consequently, as I said in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Haltemprice (Mr. Wall) on 17th December, 1970, I cannot at present foresee what changes in fisheries policy and administration will be required should we join the Community.—[Vol. 808, c.448.]
