§ Mr. Lomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will issue instructions to regional hospital boards that proper joint consultative machinery should be set up at each hospital management committee level.
§ Sir K. JosephNo. Recommendations on this by the Health Services General Whitley Council have been brought to the notice of hospital authorities but I regard the establishment of such machinery as a matter for local discussion and decision, not central direction.
