Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will break down the figures which are available showing that for the petty sessional divisions comprising the North-East London Magistrates' Courts fines had increased from £43,512 in 1967, £45,447 in 1968, and to £66,051 in 1969; and how much of these increased amounts was due to accumulation of fines which had not been paid from previous years.
