§ Mr. PeytonI have recently concluded consultations with interested organisations and am grateful for the useful suggestions I have received. The current version of the Code however, has had only a short life, and is still correct and adequate as to most of its content. There is insufficient amendment to justify a revision of the Code at present. I therefore intend to produce a revised version at a later date and will then place a draft before the House as a Green Paper.
