§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he proposes to amend the Alkali &c. Works Order, 1966/1143, either through adding to the list of noxious and offensive gases under Schedule I or adding to or rescheduling the list of works under Schedule II.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineMy right hon. Friend has prepared a draft order scheduling primary aluminium smelting, petroleum, mineral, disocyanates and acrylates works and making corresponding additions to the list of noxious or offensive gases. This has been the subject of a public inquiry and he is at present considering the Inspector's Report.
