Friend the Member for Maidstone (Mr. John Wells), my right hon. Friend and his right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales are to give close attention to various aspects of forestry policy over the coming months. Their inquiries necessarily include the future level of planting by the Commission.
