§ 93. Mr. Idris Owenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give permission to enable the joint stock banks to extend credit facilities of small trader customers who are experiencing difficulty in obtaining payment for goods and services as a result of the postal strike.
§ Mr. HigginsI am sure that the banks will be sympathetic to the difficulties of customers in this situation. I do not think that any guidance is required.
