§ Mr. PriorThe attainment of significant reductions in imports is not the essential aim of the proposed interim import levy schemes. They should give a firmer tone to the market by preventing unduly low-priced imports and will thus increase farmers' confidence. I will announce details of the schemes when the present negotiations are completed.
