Mr. Anthony Boyle

There are currently 324 British officials employed in our Embassy in Washington. Of these, 39 are members of the Diplomatic Service engaged in political, commercial, consular and information duties; 39 are specialist attachés or representatives of other United Kingdom Departments; 111 are engaged in defence liaison on behalf of the minister of Defence. The remaining 135 provide communication, administration and secretarial services. The Mission is assisted by 320 locally-engaged staff.
