§ Mr. Gowerasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether, having regard to the wide range of information now published annually in the Welsh Digest of Statistics, he intends to continue publishing the annual report on developments and Government action in Wales.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasYes. But I have decided that it would be better to publish the two documents with a shorter interval between them. The earliest practicable date for publication of the Digest is September, and I am aiming to publish the Annual Report this year early in June. For publication on 1st March as in the past, material has had to be ready for the printer in the second half of January, and this has inevitably meant hasty and wasteful duplicated work.
