29. Dr. Summerskill

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will introduce legislation to prohibit all forms of advertising and sales promotion of cigarettes.

This is one of a number of recommendations in the recent report of the Royal College of Physicians which the Government are studying.

35. Mr. Madel

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services in view of the latest evidence by the Royal College of Physicians of the risk to health by smoking, what further restrictions he is considering on tobacco advertising.
