HC Deb 02 February 1971 vol 810 cc295-6W
23. Mr. Normanton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is satisfied with the arrangements for privacy when the public visit his district offices; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Dean

I am satisfied that the arrangements are generally acceptable. bearing in mind the need to deal speedily and efficiently with over half-a-million callers at local offices each week. But we are always seeking to make improvements wherever possible.
