§ Dr. Stuttafordasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give the comparison between the unemployment figures, expressed as a percentage, for the Norwich area, and the figures for the rest of the South-East area.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 11th January, 1971, the percentage rates of unemployment in the Norwich travel-to-work area, and in the South East and East Anglia regions outside the Norwich travel-to-work area were 2.9 and 1.9, respectively. The Norwich travel-to-work area is the area covered by Department of Employment offices at Norwich, Acle, Attle-borough, Loddon, Wroxham and Wymondham.
