§ Mr. David HowellSection 3(2) of the Ministerial Salaries Consolidation Act, 1965, read in conjunction with the Resolution of this House of 18th December, 1964, provides that a pension to a former Prime Minister shall not be payable so long as he is in receipt of any salary payable out of the Consolidated Fund, the revenues of the Duchy of Lancaster or monies provided by Parliament other than a salary restricted to £1,250 as a Member of Parliament.
