§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what advice he is seeking from the World Health Organisation's Expert Advisory Panel on Drug Dependence, on the prevention of drug-taking among school pupils.
§ Mr. AlisonMy Department's consultant adviser on drug addiction, Dr. P. H. Connell, is a member of this Panel and was a member of the World Health Organisation Expert Committee on Drug Dependence, whose Eighteenth Report, made in 1970, includes some advice on the prevention of drug dependence in school-children. The World Health Organisation intend to explore this matter further.
