§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT as much detailed information as may be readily available, giving for the longest convenient stated period of time the number of reported bankruptcies of all kinds, affecting both industrial undertakings and persons, where money has been or is owing to the Inland Revenue and the total amounts of such moneys due to the Inland Revenue which have not been paid.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinThe only information readily available is the amount of tax remitted on grounds of insolvency. This is set out in Table 28 of the report of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue for the year ended 31st March, 1969.
