§ Mr. George Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what increase in the number of hospital beds available in Cardiff he anticipates by April, 1973; and whether he will make a statement;
(2) whether he will make a statement on the proposed reorganisation of the Cardiff Hospitals consequent upon the opening of University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasI shall make a statement about the reorganisation of the Cardiff hospitals as soon as possible; I cannot at present give estimates of future bed numbers in the Cardiff area.
