§ 59. Mr. Prenticeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the scope of Section 7 of the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act, 1946, as interpreted by the National Insurance Commissioner, will be reduced by the High Court decision in the case of Patrick Anthony Farrell v. Secretary of State for Social Services; and if he will keep the matter under review, with the intention of issuing new regulations should it appear that the interpretation has been so affected.
§ Sir K. JosephI have no reason to believe that the judgment will affect in any way the current interpretation of this basic provision of the Industrial Injuries Act but I will certainly keep the matter under review.
