HC Deb 21 December 1971 vol 828 c331W
Mr. Mudd

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will ensure that the Concorde never flies commercially over Cornwall.

Mr. Corfield

The Government have powers under the Civil Aviation Act to regulate or prohibit commercial supersonic flying over the United Kingdom, and are at present considering how these powers should be exercised. A decision will be announced in good time before Concorde enters service.
