§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 3rd November, there were in Wales 1,308 notified vacancies remaining unfilled for employment in the manufacturing industries. As there is no obligation on employers to notify their vacancies to my Department, the figures do not purport to measure the total unsatisfied demand for labour in these industries in Wales.
