Mr. Cledwyn Hughes

asked the Attorney-General (1) if he will take steps to appoint a panel of competent interpreters who can be made available to the courts of justice in Wales;

(2) If he will take steps to amend the Welsh Courts (Interpretation) Rules, 1959, so that interpreters of Welsh may be paid fees in line with those interpreting
