Rentonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why an alien, Rafig Ashour, was given back his passport by the Immigration Branch of the Home Office on Monday, 29th November, when he was wanted by the police in their inquiries into the illegal 168W landing of immigrants the previous day at Easton, near Kimbolton, Huntingdonshire.
§ Mr. SharplesWhen Rafig Ashour called at the Public Inquiry Office it was not known in that office that the police wished to interview him and his passport was returned to him in the normal course of business.
