Russellasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will state the names of the countries which 176W combined with India, the United Arab Republic and Yugoslavia in submitting a preferential trade treaty to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade for approval on 17th November last; and whether aproval has been given.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe other countries are Brazil, Chile, Greece, Israel, Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and Uruguay. The Contracting Parties to G.A.T.T. decided on 26th November to allow the participating countries to exchange certain tariff concessions.
