§ Mr. AmeryIn circulars issued in 1964 and 1970 the attention of local authorities was drawn to the comprehensive manual of technical information and guidance "Designing for the Disabled" written by Mr. Selwyn Goldsmith and published by the Royal Institute of British Architects. The circular of 1964 also invited local authorities or anyone else intending to make special housing provision for the disabled to discuss the matter with the Departments' architects.
