§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether his Department's inspector investigating the affairs of Pergamon Press Limited and associated companies is covering in so far as they are relevant the affairs of foreign associated and/or subsidiary companies.
§ Mr. RidleyThe inspectors will enquire into the affairs of foreign associated or subsidiary companies which are or have been carrying on business in the United Kingdom so far as this is necessary for the purpose of their investigations and consistent with their powers under the Companies Acts.
