§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt June, 1970, the latest date for which figures are available, the estimated number of employees in employment in Scotland in the transport and communication group of industries was 142,700. The corresponding figures for 1969, 1968 and 1967 were 144,900, 150,000 and 153,700, respectively.
