§ 81. Mr. Liptonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will arrange that council housing estates in the metropolitan area are regularly policed, even though some of the roads in these estates are not public highways.
§ Mr. SharplesThis is a matter for the Commissioner of Police. He has authorised patrols on dedicated roads, on roads open to through traffic, on other through roads to which there is unrestricted access and on other roads which give access to specially vulnerable property.
