§ Mr. CarlisleEvery person concerned in the organisation and management of unlawful gaming is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £400; and on conviction on indictment to an unlimited fine or a maximum term of two years' imprisonment, or both. No minimum fines are prescribed. There is no penalty for participation in unlawful gaming except when it takes place in a street or public place, when there is a liability to a fine of up to £50.
