§ 51. Sir G. Sinclairasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, in view of the recently announced prohibition of jet aeroplanes taking off during night hours at Heathrow Airport, what reductions he proposes to make at Gatwick Airport to reduce aircraft noise at night.
§ Mr. NobleWhen I announced the ban at Heathrow I said that limits on night movements at Gatwick next summer had already been announced. I also declared my intention to consider more stringent limitation on summer night movements in subsequent years and I assure my hon. Friend that I will do so.
