§ Mr. BryanAt 8th November, 2,122 people (1,850 males and 272 females) were registered as unemployed in the area covered by the Peterlee and Wingate Employment Exchanges. The percentage rates of unemployment for the Peterlee and Wingate travel-to-work area and for Great Britain were 8.1 and 4.0, respectively.
