§ Mr. Cordleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he is taking to encourage the more profitable and valuable use of labour in Her 147W Majesty's prisons by the extension of training facilities and the replacement of profitless work by prison industry.
§ Mr. CarlisleDevelopment of profitable work and constructive training for prisoners is keeping in step with the plans described in the White Paper "People in Prison" (Cmnd. 4214).
