§ Mr. AlisonThe National Health Service (Superannuation) Regulations provide for the payment of injury allowance to or in respect of nurses covered by the regulations who are permanently incapacitated or who die in these circumstances. The Superannuation Bill will enable a new code of injury allowance to be introduced covering all persons engaged in health services whether superannuable or not. Where a nurse was not permanently incapacitated the normal provisions for paid sick leave would apply.
