§ 48. Mr. Douglasasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the steps he is taking to ensure the co-ordination of planning procedures for the granting of sites to service 101W the requirements of the firms drilling for oil off the Scottish coast.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThere is already co-ordination through regional development agencies and the local planning authorities. My Departments and the Department of Trade and Industry are also in close touch with events and can advise and assist. I am ready to take any other steps that may be necessary.
