§ Mr. Peter ThomasThe Government intend that the reorganisation of the N.H.S. in Wales should take effect in April, 1974, at the same time as the reorganisation of local government.
Before reaching firm decisions on which legislation will be based, full discussions will be held with interested bodies about the proposals in my consultative document.
Detailed studies of management arrangements in the new structure and of collaboration with local government will be proceeding at the same time.
