asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is now his timetable for the progress of the South Coast Trunk Road in the section running through the Fareham Urban District.

Construction of the Windhover—Portsbridge section which runs through Fareham Urban District is expected to be started next year and completed in the summer if 1974. Advance works are already in progress.
