Mr. Bob Brown

asked the Minister of State for Defence what steps he is taking to ensure that British Servicemen overseas are kept informed of Government decisions; and if he will ensure that all such servicemen are supplied with a copy of The United Kingdom and the European Communities, Command Paper No. 4715.

Provision is made for Servicemen overseas to see copies of British national newspapers, various periodicals, C.O.I. pamphlets and other publications on current affairs. Copies of the short version of the White Paper on Britain and the European Communities have been distributed to all three Services overseas by the Forces' postal service.
