HC Deb 04 August 1971 vol 822 c313W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry to what extent he estimates, on Great Britain's entry into the European Economic Community, that the price rises which will result therefrom will affect the £2 million to £3 million per annum of goods purchased by residents of the Six who come to Great Britain to purchase retail goods from British shops due to their cheapness in comparison with the cost of such items in the countries of the Six.
