§ Mr. Barry Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish the names of local education authorities in Wales which were refused allocation when they submitted bids under the urban aid programme, phases 2 and 3; and which of these local education authorities put in bids for projects concerned with nursery education.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasSix Welsh local education authorities submitted bids for nursery places in phase 2 and seven for phase 3 of the urban aid programme. Flintshire and Swansea were unsuccessful 351W in phase 2 and Merthyr Tydfil and Swansea in phase 3.
