§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what estimate he has made in the amount of subsidies that the Hull Corporation will receive for council houses following the implementation of the White Paper, "Fair Deal for Housing", and what additional revenue will need to be raised from council house tenants.
§ Mr ChannonI have made no estimate because of the many variables in determining fair rents and in the effects of the Government's proposals on the housing revenue account. Such figures are better got from the local authority.
