asked the Minister of State for Defence when the concrete base of the Army garages backing on to Ashdene Drive, Belfast, was started; and what type of structural base was there before this work started.

Work on the garages started in November, 1969, when a layer of concrete was placed over the existing hardstanding, which was surfaced with tarmacadam.
