§ Mr. Parryasked the Prime Minister (1) if he has now completed his consideration of the memorandum of the North-West Development Association concerning Intermediate Area Status; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if, in view of the recent unemployment figures published for the North West Region, he will now agree to meet a deputation from the North West Development Association to discuss the matter.
§ The Prime MinisterI have informed the association that I shall be glad to discuss the issues raised in its memorandum when I am next in the North-West.
