§ 38. Mr. Goodhartasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what financial aid and technical assistance is being given to the Sudan in the financial year 1971–72.
§ Mr. WoodUnder an agreement dated August, 1969, £459,000 in capital assistance will be provided in 1971–72 to replace 40 gates of the Sennar Dam. These are being built in Britain.
About £½ million in technical assist-will be provided during that year.
