§ Mr. Bryan9,502,000 working days were lost in all industrial stoppages in progress in the three months ending 31st March, 1971, and the number of stoppages which began in this period was 595. These figures are provisional. Corresponding figures for the same period in 1970 are 2,201,000 days lost and 1,212 stoppages.
