§ 57. Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications if, in order to assist the deaf, he will require the broadcasting authorities to provide visual aids, such as an increased use of captions on television news and other televised programmes.
§ Mr. ChatawayProgramme arrangements are the responsibility of the broadcasting authorities, and I have no power to impose such a requirement.
