§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Lord President of the Council whether the terms of reference of the Lord Boyle Committee of investigation into the pay of Members of Parliament are such as to enable it to consider not only the nearly seven years of the depreciation of Members of Parliament's salaries since its last revision but also the estimated future depreciation of 8 per cent. per annum.
