§ Mr. Peter WalkerI do not know how many local authorities have regular schemes for selling council houses, since they are not required to submit schemes to me. 201 authorities in fact made sales during the last six months of 1970. The New Towns are also dealing with a large number of tenants wishing to become owner occupiers.
