§ 50. Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will permit local authorities under the Housing Act 1969, to make payment of certain additional sums over and above site value in respect of properties in clearance areas which were designated as unfit before the date specified in the Act but for which compensation terms have not yet been concluded.
§ Mr. Gibson-WattMy right hon. and learned Friend has no power to do so. The rules on which compensation is assessed are laid down by statute.
