§ Mr. Patrick JenkinThe review of the structure of the P.A.Y.E. system on which this decision depends is a far-reaching one and is bound to take some months to complete. In his Budget Statement my right hon. Friend said that he was aware that the suspension of the present mechanisation programme had caused anxiety in towns where the computer centres were to be set up and that there was a need to reach a decision as soon as possible.
