HL Deb 08 April 1971 vol 317 c520WA
LORD O'HAGAN

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Treaty of Rome recognises the concept of patriality.

LORD WINDLESHAM

There is nothing in the Treaty which prevents a member State of the European Economic Community from deciding who is to be exempt from its immigration control.

House adjourned, for the Easter Recess, at four minutes past four o'clock, until Tuesday, April 20, 1971.
